my bag

Recent another prize i made for a competition was a lovely draw string bag that came together better than I thought it would. The end result was very pretty and sweet!

 I used an old cross-stitched pattern I salvaged and made this my focus of the bag, sewn it to the front and frayed the edges for a somewhat vintage/aged look.

 The lining was a wonderful butter-milk yellowwith little bunnies and cherries on it!

 added a liberal sprinkling of a few pretty buttons and charms...

 ...see the little silver sea-horse?...
