feeding the giant lizardy bearded dragon known as spike is fun to watch...especially when he gets fed mushy carrots...

 straight in there, head dived into the bowl and now has orange mush over his head!

 he looks like a mini dragon/dinosaur doesnt he?! Going...

 ...going... (yes that is carrot mush over his eye)...

...Gone!  nom nom nommers!

Hey peeps, hope you are all well!

I've decided to set myself a small challenge to keep me focused and going as recently I started feeling a bit low and unsteady in myself (that's another story for another post)

I will do a drawing a day, when I can as sometimes life will get in the way and sometimes I wont be able to but I hope to mostly finish this in 2-3 months and post up the drawings here.

in the last few days...

I have been eating left over halloween sweeties from our party...and i need to stop!

 indy been moved to a new, warmer place for the winter and is happily chattering away whenever we past him by. he seems alot happier in his happy place now, the sweet baby!

 we been enjoying the efforts of my fruits of labour and eating large slices of the red velvet cake with cream frosting I made for the party...yummy!

 waking up to my new SAD alarm that slowly brightens up until you need to be up by. such a nice lazy glow to wake up to in the morning!

 don't worry, its not been all sweets and cake-eating here! Home made vegan curries were rustled up too and were damn good if i may say so! (go me!)

 Turtle bread!....cos the supermarkets gotta shift the stuff somehow!

cards

on a spur of the moment, quick 5 minute visit to my shop of choice for a thrifty look around, i came across a box of old postcards and cards. Now I dont normally get drawn to these types of things but two little beauties were clear to see and I very much liked them!

 Indeed we women do!

I adore the next one, wonderfully preserved and so unusual and pretty, I knew i had to have it as a piece of visual inspiration!

 And in the inside the message continues!

 Its so pretty no? And i love the little tiny note on the back! Like a little memento of the ghosts of yesteryears.

10 years...

Today, i recieved a nice suprise...
i woke up to two huge bouquets of roses in wonderful colours and a wonderful, smiling hubby.
He quietly bought me in breakfast in bed ( a very rare treat!) and the first thing i could smell was this gorgeous, freshly baked almond croissant.

 Hubby had walked down to the local shops and gotten fresh goodies as they came out of the bakery and these babies were very, very yummy. we couldnt stop groaning as we ate these, so flaky sweet! I will certainly be having these again!

Eggs Benedicts with a little box of fresh danishes and some butter to slather on....mmmmmm!

And why did the hubby do this? Well even though we been married for two years last month, today on Halloween, we have been together for 10 years!
